What is Consignment stock and which accounting entries are posted at the time of GR?

CONSIGNMENT STOCK:-
The stock supplied by the vendor is in the companies premises with the company having no liability for the same. The liability for the company will only be affected when the goods are issued from the consignment stock to use.
While posting from GR the movement type will be 201-consignment to stock.
When to use 351 STO and when to use 641?
STO 351 is used for goods issue for stock transport order between plant to plant without shipping.
641 is used for goods issue with delivery in shipping.

What are the back-end settings required for Consignment Stock?
Are Movement type & accounting entries are same?
They are different.
Movement type are use for inventory posting, such as increase stocks (101), decrease stocks (601) etc.
When a movement type is executed, an auto Accounting entries is posted by the system to the company financial account (this is configured by SAP Consultant).
What are the back-end settings required for Consignment Stock?
Consignment Stock does not need any setup as it is a standard SAP function.
