After many years of usage, my adjustable plastic float ball valve that automatic fill the toilet bowl tank keep dripping water even when it is fully filled.  Look like it’s time for a change.

Plastic Float Ball Valve

I went down to one of those hardware stores to make enquiry and was told that nobody uses the plastic float ball valve anymore and it is no longer on sale.

Instead, the new design comes without the plastic float ball and all you need to do is to connect the stainless steel  flexible hose at the bottom to let the water flow into the fill valve.   You can easily adjust the water level and it was simple enough for me to install it even without reading the manual. By the way, I did not install the refill pipe that came with it as I prefer to see the water flowing out into the toilet bowl water tank.

Overall, I like the new design as it looks quite neat without the floating plastic ball valve.
