Recently, I bought a Samsung A9 2018 as I wish to go back to using a flat screen instead of the S and Notes series curved screen. With the curved screen, it is pretty hard to get the tempered glass to stick on it.

SIM and MicroSD Slot

One advantage of the A9 2018 is that it had 2 nano sim and a separate MicroSD slot unlike the S and Notes series where you get only 1 nano sim slot and 1 hybrid slot (either for a 2nd sim card or MicroSD).

This is good for me as I need 2 sim card slot as I got 2 mobile number and a MicroSD card slot. It is one of my buy criteria.

Does Samsung A9 2018 have LED notification?

I take for granted that the LED light notification is a default Samsung feature and after purchasing the A9 2018, I realize it was not. There are no LED light notification to tell you that your battery is fully charged. I think that it is very stupid of Samsung not to install the LED light indicator on all its phones.

Overcome The Samsung A9 2018 LED Light Notification

Without the LED notification, you need to set the Date and Time display to be always on so that you can see the battery charge status. This can be done from the Settings -> Lock Screen -> Always on Display -> Content to Show (I chose the Home button and clock)
