When I first bought my desktop PC, I did not install any wireless card on my gaming PC as my table was near my home router in the living room. Recently, I decided to move the desktop computer to my room and a Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter was required.

After reading much review, decided to buy the TP-Link AC1200 Archer T4E Wireless Dual Band PCI Express Adapter as it was a popular brand.

Once it arrived, I inserted into my desktop PC without any issue. However, I found that I had lost the screws that was supposed to tighen the wireless card. Therefore, I make used of the nylon cable tie size 3 x 100 cm to replace it as screws and it does the job nicely. You can see from the left image below the white thinkgy.

After that, its time to screw in the 2 antenna. Check that there is green light flickering (if no green light, its mean that your PCI card was not inserted properly) before you install the CD software that comes with it.

Finally, I test the speed and its was good enough for my usage.

I am glad that I have upgraded my desktop with this Advanced AC WI-FI. Time to go and enough my gaming. 🙂
