{"id":1521,"date":"2022-02-13T06:07:21","date_gmt":"2022-02-13T06:07:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gotothings.com\/blog\/?p=1521"},"modified":"2022-04-12T12:36:20","modified_gmt":"2022-04-12T12:36:20","slug":"fill-valve-replacement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gotothings.com\/blog\/fill-valve-replacement\/","title":{"rendered":"Fill Valve Replacement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>After many years of usage, my adjustable plastic float ball valve that automatic fill the toilet bowl tank keep dripping water even when it is fully filled.&nbsp; Look like it&#8217;s time for a change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"333\" height=\"214\" src=\"https:\/\/gotothings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/plastic-float-ball-valve.jpg\" alt=\"Plastic Float Ball Valve\" class=\"wp-image-1523\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gotothings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/plastic-float-ball-valve.jpg 333w, https:\/\/gotothings.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/02\/plastic-float-ball-valve-300x193.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 333px) 100vw, 333px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>I went down to one of those hardware stores to make enquiry and was told that nobody uses the plastic float ball valve anymore and it is no longer on sale.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, the new design comes without the plastic float ball and all you need to do is to connect the stainless steel&nbsp; flexible hose at the bottom to let the water flow into the fill valve.&nbsp;&nbsp; You can easily adjust the water level and it was simple enough for me to install it even without reading the manual.
