How to create the cost center by controlling area?

I am furnishing here below the steps involved in creation of cost center:

Before defining the cost centers, make sure that controlling area is defined in Enterprise Structure.

Step 1:

SPRO -> Controlling -> General
Controlling -> Organization -> Maintain Controlling area.
Press enter

Choose maintain controlling area (OKKP) 
Select Controlling area --> details Give some name in CCTR standard hierarchy 
Save and exit

Select controlling area, click on activate components activate cost centers, order management, committment managment

Tick in Variances
Tick in All currencies
Save and exit

Step 2: 

Maintain No. ranges for controlling area.
Insert a new intervals
Assign Interval to COINCO object
Save and exit

Step 3: 

Maintain versions.
Select version : 0

Step 4: 

Creat cost center KS01

Spro -> Controlling -> Cost centers accounting -> Master data
--> Cost centers --> Create
Enter data
Enter Hierarchy name
Save and exit
