The ability to earn a second source of full-time income part-time have never been more important than before.  Unfortunately, it seems that only the rich have backup plans.  Why is it so?  The answers is very obvious.  Most rich people have their own business.  Secondly, they usually have more than one business to make money for them. 

At a very young age, childrens from those rich parents have already been taught to learn and understand how money works.  They are taught NOT TO work for money.  Money instead should be working for them as a slave during their entire lifetime.  They learn from young that in order to achieve that, they must learn how to run and start a business. 

Owning your own business means that you are always in control of your own destiny.  People who work under your business umbrella will always be making money for you while you pay them a monthly fixed rate for their labour service.

I believe that you might have heard many similar stories like this before: 

This person was a dedicated workers during his entire career life and have been working for the same company for 3 decades since he was 20 years old.   He have been very hard working and slogging for the company when it was at an infant stage.  When the company was busy, he did not mind working overtime for free.  When the company was having a bad time, he even volunteer to have a percentage of his pay cut.  He was always friendly, smiling and hardworking.

One day at the age of fifty, he went to work as per normal in a happy mood.  Later on during the morning before lunch, the human resource manager invited him to her office and told him that his services was no longer needed.  The reason was because the company was moving part of the operation overseas and is now undergoing some right-sizing.  Imagine the shock of his life being retrenched at that old age when he still have lots of financial obligation to fulfill and doesn't even have enough savings for his retirement.

To make matter worse, he wasn't prepared for this awful day.  During the past three decades, he didn't continuously make time to get a higher education as he was working hard for the company.  He didn't make time to learn how to invest and grow his money.  He didn't make time to learn how to start any small business.  In simple terms, he never really prepared himself as he was too busy taking care of someone else business not realizing that it does not guarantee him a life time employment.

The lessons learn here is that we should not be too dependent on our employers for our monthly paychecks.  We need to have a financial backup plan so that the money can still continue to flow in even when we are not working.  Like the rich, we must learn how to seek out money making opportunities that are available. 

Today, the internet is the new source of wealth and starting a work at home online business with a computer is one money idea that we should not overlooked.  Work at home business on the internet are real business that makes real money.  The only obstacle against you is taking the time and effort to learn this online trade and a simple belief that you can and will succeed.
