Different people can respond differently to the very same situation. For e.g., when any of us are held in a heavy traffic, many of us would react with feeling such as frustration, anger etc. while few might handle the situation with strength. The way and manner in which we deal with even minor incidents have great impact on the progress we make in our lives and determine our ability on how we overcome the obstacles to achieve the progress. Let's discuss feelings and emotions, and it's relevance to overcoming obstacles. Our personal emotions play a vital role in our life and many times, their impact is overlooked. When our days are filled with positive emotions, it increases our resilience against challenges. In order to gain happiness in our lives, it is mandatory to focus on our everyday small moments and nurture the positive emotions. These small emotions cause positive emotions to flourish enabling one to overcome the obstacles with an open mind. When you remain cool in a tough situation and take control of it, you are on your way towards successful self improvement. As humans, we are often engulfed with thoughts and concerns about their past and future lives. We hardly pay attention to the goodness that exists in their present day lives. It could include simple things such as the kindness showed to one by his friend, the beautiful things that nature has laid out for them outside the window of their homes etc. It is necessary to identify ones' feelings and remain flexible and open. Instead of focusing on bigger issues of the future, it is wise to appreciate the good things we find in our daily lives, even though these moments might be on a micro level. A life coach can greatly help to bring about improvement in the personal and business life of a person. Try to recollect an experience that created feelings of anger, sadness, anxiety, guilt etc., which made you lose control. Once you have identified your feelings, it is time to rate them. You can perhaps rate the intensity of your feelings on a scale from zero to ten (zero indicates no emotion and ten indicates the most intense emotion). Develop techniques to free yourself from these emotions by reminding yourself that you are not going to lose control but instead take charge of the situation and emerge as a warrior. Once you have mastered such techniques to strengthen your emotions, you will notice that the level of your negative emotions will go down the scale. It is okay to feel sad when you experience a painful situation but do not let the pain transform into fear. It will hinder your self improvement and make you a victim of failure. It is really normal for human to faced obstacles in our life at some point in time or the other. It is the attitude of the your self and the measures taken by them to overcome those obstacles that make them stand out from the rest of the crowd.
