The Spiritual Differences
"Self-respect is the cornerstone of all virtue." *-- John Herschel (1792 - 1871) "The great secret that all old people share is that
you really haven't changed in 70 or 80 years. Your body changes, but you
don't change at all."
"You have a solemn obligation to take care of yourself, because you never know when the World will need you." *-- Rabbi Hillel --- Scriptures taken from the Kings James Bible How can we accept or at least live with spiritual diffrences ? We must work out our own relationship with Creator and allow others to do the same. Philippians 2:12 “ Wherefore my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation, with fear and trembling” When we have strong convictions in our spiritual beliefs we often think that what we believe is correct doctrine and the only way to find God. We tend to pity or to look down on others who do not hold the same Doctrine. Luke 18:11 The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself. “God, I thank thee that I am not as other men are, Extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this Publican” .....14......For everyone who exalts himself shall be abased, and He who humbles himself shall be exalted” One thing we must realize is that the flesh, this physical body in which we dwell, is a veil. A veil draped over our face allows us to see somewhat but at the same time makes it difficult to see clearly. One day when the veil is removed we will at long last see everything clearly. Isaiah 55.8 “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the Lord” Because man can not penetrate into the very core of another, he has only the choice of judging from the outward appearance, or He may choose to understand that no one person, no one religion holds all the truth and that a man who seeks truth and the Creator is for God and not against Him, that all things were Created by God and has value 1 Samuel 16 v 6-7..And it came to pass when they were come, that He looked on Eliab and said, “Surely the Lord's anointed is before Him. ...But the Lord said unto Samuel, “Look not on His countenance or on the height of His stature: because I have refused Him. For the Lord sees not as man sees. For man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart” In other words just because we think someone is good or bad, of God or not of God, does not make it so. We can know for sure only what is our own relationship with God . Discenment Vs Opinion Vs Judgement We can look at a tree and know it is an Apple tree, this is Discerment. We can say I do or do not like Apples and this is an opinion Or we can say, Apples are not a part of God, God and everyone hates Apples, therefore all Apples should be destroyed and this is Judgement. Because Judgement trys to say what is acceptable to God and others, this would be the least desirable of the 3 at least that is my opinion. To truly have the Love of God, I feel we must trust that Creator knows who and what belongs to Him/Her and accept it. Even those who may not be acceptable to Creator at one point could in a twinkling of an eye become acceptable. Just as those who are acceptable at one point could than become unacceptable. When we find ourselves looking at anything with judgement, we can remind ourselves that God's eyes are constantly on His Creation and nothing can evade Him. Judgement has not been assigned to us and letting go can bring great peace of mind. Love is the law, Do what you will and Harm none This is the end of part 1 Coming soon in Part 2 What the words we speak say about us Heb 4 v 12 “ For the word of God is quick and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart” Part 3 Why we call Creator, Mother/ Father God Is God just our Father, or is Creator our Mother too? Is there scripture and Language interpretation to back up this belief? Part 4 Is it wrong to be Psychic? Or has terminology separated God's people for no reason ? Part 5 Through the power of God, where all power comes from, Moses was a Mage. Yet this fact has been completely overlooked by many.
