Is there a report or a way to know if the work order has material requirement or service. I need to know that from a report. I think that there may be a System status which indicates if theres a requirement, or any other posibility to obtain that information withou entering the work order. I think I understand what you are looking for. You can use IW38 and search by System status. There is search fields in this report called "Status inclusive" and "Status exclusive". The status you should use in the "Status inclusive" field for material is "MACM - material committed & MSPT - Material shortage". These should show all Work Order with material components. If you want to do it the other way then add into the "Status exclusive" NMAT - no material components. This should exclude all the Work Orders with no material component requirement. To report Services you will have to use IW37 because the service lives at Operation level. Use the control key for service to search and there is also "Status inclusive" and "Status exclusive" fields here as well. The status that can be used is "EODL - External Operation delivered & EOPD - External Operation partly delivered. These may work depending how your SAP is set up. The good thing about using IW37 to search your services is that you can set up the table layout to show the Requisition number, vendor, price etc and you can open the Requisition directly from the list edit table.
