How to configure BOM in SPRO?
BOM configuration in general will come as default when the plant is copied from base plant 0001 in Development client, and this will transported to Testing client and Production client. We have to cross check whether all the default settings are suitable to us. If not we can change this in dev client and save in new Transport request and transport this request number to testing and production client. (but it most of the cases it will not be required). Go to IMG -> Logistics -> Production -> Master data -> BOM There you can see General data, Item data, Control data.
The package for BOM is CS and all the IMG Tcodes will start OS.
Go to tcode SPRO These are the configuration settings available for BOM. Depending on your Business configuration i.e. Business blue print, you have to use these settings accordingly. 1.1.
