  1) Cloth B  6 + 2 = 8
      Cloth C  6 - 2 = 4
      6 + 8 + 4 = 18

  2) Fiction books    245 - 98 = 147
      147 + 245 = 392

      She has 392 books in all.

  3)  5 in front including him = 5 + 1
       6 + 3 = 9
 
       There were 9 pupils in the queue.

  4)  One digit = 2 + 1 = 3
       Hundreds dight = 2 + 3 = 5

       Rina is thinking of the number 523.

  5) a) 365 - 42 = 323
 
      Jenny has 323 stickers.

      b) 365 + 323 = 688

      Altogether they have 688 stickers.
