Restrict Batch No At Result Recording

Regarding confirmation at result recording, in my current situation. I have to confirm yield in the last operation which is a quality inspection operation using result recording.  But in the result recording I do not want to mention the Partial lot or the batch for which this is to be done. I should be able to confirm quantities without generating partial lots. Batch numbers are to be generated only during transfer to stores using Movement type 101.  How to do this and what would be the changes required?

Suggestion:

I think you are getting the batch field mandatory when you do the confirmation and do the valuation. For this to remove, in the routing header, maintain partial lot assign as partial lot for each inspection point. Currently it will be either partial lot assignment according to plant level setting which inturn will be partial lot for each batch and inspection point (plant level setting).

If you want to reflect partial lot for each inspection point to all routing, kindly change the same in the plant level setting:

QCC0 -> Basic setting -> Maintains Settings at plant level -> Result recording -> Partial lot assign -> You can use the entry in this list field to set the detailing levels for the assignment of manufactured quantities.

Restrict Batch No At Result Recording

In the first and most detailed level ("Partial lots not defined"), the manufactured partial quantities are assigned to inspection points for which inspection results are also recorded.

In the second detailing level ("Partial lot for each inspection point"), the partial quantities, to which the inspection points are assigned, are combined into partial lots.

In the third detailing level ("Partial lot and batch for each inspection point") , partial lots are combined into batches.

If you define partial lot assignment in the task list header, this specification overrides the default values at plant level.

If no entry exists in the default values at plant level, this means that partial lots are not defined.

This should solve your issue.
