On 8 August 2020, mySim contract with Singtel ended and I decide to switch to Singtel sub-brand GOMO.

The issue with any contact plan whether mySim or not, you need to remember the contract end date else the plan price will revert back to the more expensive pricing.

The advantage of a no contract plan is that the price remain the same and it is auto renew every 30 days.

It is also convenient to switch without any penalty. Recently, GIGA, the sub-brand of Starhub came with a yearly national day promotion for a few days where you get 40 GB of data, 200 mins or talk time and SMS for the monthly price of $18 forever.

With more and more telco coming out with no contract plan it is easy to switch if you think that their connection are bad. For your info, the new GRID backbone is also using Singtel but their no contract price plan is cheaper than GOMO.

Therefore, why get your mobile plan tie down by the telco 12 or 24 months contract. It made no sense for me.
