I have had this problem on my ACER and ASUS laptop and spent hours in the morning Googling and trying any suggestion that I could find. By afternoon, I found a solution. It may somehow seemed ridiculous but I gave it a shot and PROBLEM SOLVED.

1.) Shut down your notebook, PC or Laptop.
2.) Unplug the power cord.
3.) If you have a notebook or laptop, remove the battery as well.
4.) Walk away from the problem to work on some other things (I went to do my ironing) for at least 30 minutes.
5.) When you return, reconnect battery and power cord.
5.) Start as usual.
6.) If this solves the problem, please take sometimes and post your comments for those who are still struggling to find a solution that it works.

This fix appears to work for any OS.

What was the causes for this problem, really I don’t know.

Have a nice day! 😉
