An average typed page has 250 words, so if it were to take you say five minutes to type and you get paid $1 for a page, that would give you $12 an hour. Not too shabby for working at home. You should never book yourself for jobs that figure to take more than 75% of your allocated working time doing this work. You need some extra time to find the rush or expedited jobs that pay much better, that are available. You also need to allow some extra time to complete the jobs you have scheduled in case something goes wrong and they take more time than you planned to spend on them. Try to remember that the cost or price for all jobs is negotiable. You will also be much better off having a reputation for the high quality of your work, rather than a reputation for rushing through jobs that the person that reads your work can detect.
