How would you think you will feel if one day you told
your best friend or spouse something that you are very excited about, something
you are very proud about it but the response you got from them was far
from encouraging, one such negative comment such as: "Big deal" or "So
what" or how about "That's absurd! You of all the people couldn't manage
that" or worse yet "I don't believe you can do it. You're not worthy or
good enough to accomplish something as big as that".
How are you going to feel at that moment? Would you feel jubilant or dejected? These negative words or statements, when repeated often to you brain have the potential of creating within you the fear of failure. In the long-run, such negative words are going to become your self-beliefs, those that you will deem as true about you and especially more so if they are coming from someone you admire and respect. These people have the power to create within you serious barriers towards success and accomplishment in all areas of your life. The fear of failure or making mistakes can sabotage your chances of progress in life by becoming your unproductive core belief that will halt and haunt you throughout your personal life from achieving the things you want. Here are some of the ways for you to overcome the fear of making mistakes or failure: Repeatedly say to your inner self that you welcome all types problems and challenges. You are ready and willing to receive them into your personal life. Challenge yourself against them to your utmost ability. And as you overcome those challenges and obstacles, make sure you reward yourself on each success no matter how small it may seems. Be committed to give your very best, to give 100 or 101 percents to what you set out to accomplish. Should any negative thoughts surface along the way, you are going to stop them as soon as you become consciously aware of the by saying, "Cancel. Cancel. Cancel." And then start replacing those negative thoughts with positive ones. Kick those those negative thoughts out as soon as you can. As often as you can be, always perfrom the best that you can. Act and behave yourself in a successful manner, as one who has achieved success. Success may not be in the physical form yet, but sooner or later, it will be your reality in due course as you persist get it. By having that successful mindset, you will eliminate the fear of failure that was once holding you back. When you boost your self-motivation a few degrees at a time, you can literally turn your life around as you climb each single steps up the stairs.
