O Level Score For JC
Calculation of the O level score for JC is based on the L1R5 scoring system and not the number of distinctions the student attained. This scoring system takes into account the student's first Language (L1) and five Relevant subjects (R5), which must include at least one from Mathematics, Science and Humanities. Each school's cut-off point varies from year to year, depending on the number and quality of applicants who apply under the Joint Admission Exercise. This includes bonus points for passing Higher Mother Tongue and outstanding Co-Curricular Activities records. Notes:
O Level Score For Poly Polytechnic Courses Requirement - English plus 2 Relevant Subjects plus 2 Best Subject Aggregate Computation for Poly Courses The selection criteria for entry into Polytechnic courses is ELR2B2 where EL represents English Language, R2 represents two relevant subjects and B2 represents any two other subjects, including those in the two groups of relevant subjects that have not already been used in the computation. CCA is excluded in this computation. On top of ELR2B2, students will have to meet the eligibility criteria for the individual courses. --- O Level Score For ITE ITE Courses Requirement - English plus 1 Relevant Subject plus 3 Best Subjects Aggregate Computation for ITE Courses The selection criteria for entry into ITE courses is ELR1B3 and ELR2B2.
